FILA successfully hosted “2025 WHITE OPEN SEOUL”, underscoring its tennis heritage

2025.09.29

- FILA’s premier urban tennis festival, ‘WHITE OPEN SEOUL,’ returned for its third consecutive year along the Han River, attracting thousands of visitors and building momentum from past events at Gwanghwamun Square and Olympic Park.

- The event featured celebrity tennis matches, live concerts, and interactive programs for fans of all ages, blending sport, culture, and music.

- As a flagship event, FILA continues to expand its tennis culture in Korea with unique city-centered experiences.

FILA, operated by Misto Korea, hosted the 2025 WHITE OPEN SEOUL (WOS) on September 27–28 at Banpo Some Yebit along the Han River.

Now in its third year, the festival has grown into a signature urban tennis event of FILA in Korea, following previous events at Gwanghwamun Square (2023) and Olympic Park (2024).

Under the slogan “Our tennis is beautiful,” this year’s event combined FILA’s tennis heritage with music, culture, and hands-on experiences. Public response was strong, particularly for its special product packages (WOS and FILA Match Package), both of which included exclusive benefits such as entries to win a private tennis lesson with FILA tennis ambassadors and quickly sold out.

A highlight of the program was the Celebrity Tennis Match, where six celebrities passionate about tennis, joined FILA tennis ambassadors including Coach Hyung-Taik Lee, a Korean tennis icon, and 2014 Incheon Asian Games gold medalist Yong-Kyu Lim.

Beyond the headline events, visitors experienced FILA’s tennis identity through custom tennis shoe workshops, serve speed tests, rally games, and pickleball challenges. Attendees also enjoyed a stamp tour with special giveaways, photo zones along the riverside, and F&B booths throughout the venue.

A Misto Korea representative said, “This year’s WHITE OPEN SEOUL was created as a new kind of urban tennis festival, blending tennis, culture, and music to deliver unforgettable memories for everyone who loves sports and FILA. We will continue to promote the growth of tennis culture, making the sport accessible and enjoyable in many different ways.”
